Table Lodge Features renowned
speaker

Frontier Lodge celebrated their annual Table
Lodge in early December. This year, they were fortunate
enough to have the renowned Masonic speaker, Brent Morris
provide the keynote speech!
Brent is the editor of the Scottish Rite Journal
magazine, and author of "Freemasonry for Dummies".
Brother Morris gave an entertaining presentation
on itinerate ritualists during the 1700-1800s.
Frontier was also favored to have one of the Past Grand Masters,
MW Richard Massad, joint them as well.
It was an evening that won't soon be forgotten
and again, is another milestone for Frontier Lodge.

Short Talk Program "Sets the Goalpost" for
Oklahoma Masonry
As part of his Program, the Grand Master
proclaimed that Masonic Education would be part of every lodge's
stated meetings. Frontier Lodge took that a step further
by holding the first Short Talk competition in late July.
Nine brothers from the lodge put together papers and
presentations lasting from five to fifteen minutes a
nd
presented it to the attendees. It was one of the largest
turnouts we have had in lodge in quite some time. We were
also honored to have Brother Bob Davis stop by.
The presentations ranged from humorous to deeply
philisophical (ask brother Brad about broccoli and cake).
The overall winner was our Senior Warden, Chris Forster, who did
a wonderful and entertaining presentation on the bee hive.
Thanks to our secretary, Bro Robert Cook, for
thinking of this and to all the brothers who participated.
This truly was a unique way to keep the craft interested and
inquisitive on the sidelines !

Jack Shanklin recognized by members of
Frontier Lodge

Worshipful Master Mike Branson, Right Worshipful
Brad Rickelman,Tom Warren and Right Worshipful Steve Singleton
(not pictured) accompanied Jack Shanklin to the Grand Lodge in
Guthrie to unveil the honor stone purchased by the lodge in his
behalf.
The stone commemorates all the time and energy
Jack has devoted to making Frontier Lodge what it is today.
His work with EAs, FCs, and MMs helped keep our degree
progression moving and bring new brothers to work in the lodge.
It was an honor well-deserved.
